R7 (Switch to Black yarn): 20 sc. Finally, use gold thread to slip stitch around to create a textured pattern/outline.

Hat Wings (Make 2)
Make 6 ch (chain stitches) + insert thin wire. Starting from the second chain from the hook:

Work 4 sc (one in each of the next 4 ch).

Work 4 sc into the next chain (same stitch).

Work 4 sc (one in each of the next 4 ch). Then, use gold thread to slip stitch around the entire wing edge.
